To All The MMOs I’ve Loved Before
I sat down the other day and wondered just how many MMOs I’ve played, beta tested or trialed over the years, so I compiled a list. This may or may not be comprehensive, and it includes games which I have paid for, those which I have tested, and those which I have tried, either in free trial or because they were free to play. I don’t make a distinction. In addition, I’m sure there’s some wiggle room in this list as to what is and what is not an MMO. I figure that if the selling point is “online”, and there’s the opportunity to play with, against, or at least see other people, it counts for the purpose of “massive multiplayer online game”.
This is not an e-peen thing. I’m not interested in comparing the size of your list to mine. This is just my attempt at creating a historical record for myself, so I’ll try and add on to this list when new games become available. I’m sure I’m missing some.
